HELP US RESTORE PLANO’S REAPER
1886 Plano Manufacturing Company Harvester
For decades, parades in Plano have featured an 1886 Plano Manufacturing Company harvester, often referred to as the reaper. Plano Historical Society has partnered with The Plano Area Chamber of Commerce, who oversees this celebrated symbol of our history, to raise funds for needed restoration and maintenance.

Plano’s Beginnings
Plano’s name was inspired by the plain between Little Rock Creek and Big Rock Creek where families settled in the 1830s.
